Grammys weekend meant plenty of work and play for Lindsay Lohan, 21, who is making good on her promise to deliver her third studio album before the end of the year.
On Feb. 9, the actress and pop star recorded several new tracks at LA’s Chalice Studios, accompanied by Jeremy Greene, an R&B artist and songwriter, who spoke exclusively to Life & Style.
“She’s working hard on her new songs,” says Greene, who has written several potential future hits for Lindsay, including “I Miss You.” “I wrote it specifically for her and what she’s going through right now. She said she relates to it. It reminds her of her relationship with her dad. She connects with it.”
Another song Greene wrote for Lindsay is called “Faith.” “I think she’ll relate to this song as well because it’s about complicated relationships in someone’s life,” he says. “With everyone around her, she’s definitely dealt with these kinds of relationships.” No release date has been set. “It’s too early for those decisions,” says Greene. “She’s just in the recording stages, but she’s going strong!”
“Lindsay’s going for a pop sound with a house-music feel to it,” songwriter Jeremy Greene tells Life & Style.
