Amy Winehouse denies trashing hotel room

Amy Winehouse is denying reports she trashed her hotel room before the Brits.

The Sun claims the troubled star caused thousands of pounds worth of damage at the £300-a-night Riverbank Plaza, leaving cigarette butts, knickers and empty bottles of champagne littered across the floor.

It's claimed it took staff 2 hours to tidy up and clean the bath which had to be 'scrubbed and unblocked from balls of matted hair'.

Amy spokeman slams the report.

'That story is rubbish I'm afraid,' Chris Goodman tells Now. 'The hotel have confirmed that there's not been any damage and there's nothing to pay for.'
