Zac Efron was rushed to hospital to have his appendix
removed.

The 'High School Musical' heartthrob was taken to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai
Medical Center to have the emergency appendectomy.
His representative said: "Zac had his appendix removed and is recuperating."
The 20-year-old's hospitalization comes a day after Walt Disney Studios
Motion Picture Productions announced Zac would be joining co-stars Vanessa
Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel in
the third movie in the series, 'High School Musical: Senior Year'.
