The news comes at the best possible time - Scientologist propaganda has Katie usurping her role as mother to her adopted children, and Andrew Morton's juicy tell-all on her little ex-husband is coming out next week. It's hard to imagine anyone not overjoyed at the news, but there is indeed a fly in the ointment.
Ironically, the person who got her into her current condition is the sole individual who may not have wanted it to happen, at least not yet. Those shady inside sources say that Keith did not want to start a family right away. After cleaning up his act, Keith told her he wanted to have some time alone, just the two of them. In other words, he didn't want to have to compete with anyone else for Nicole's attention. Maybe he's an incredibly self-centered man; maybe they're much more affectionate in private, but when I think torrid love affair Keith and Nicole do not come to mind. At all.

While Keith is casting a protective arm across Nicole's bump zone (possibly under duress - check out the death grip she has on him - both hands!) in the accompanying photo his face tells a different story, like this isn't what he signed up for. It must be hard for him to play second fiddle to his wife, in both career and stature. No wonder he prefers to tour than sit at home.
