John Travolta defends Tom Cruise

John Travolta is defending Tom Cruise after last week's leaked Scientology video.

John, 53, insists that the intense media furore has gone too far.

'[Tom] has – we all have the right to practice how we feel,' he tells People.com.

'It finally becomes unfair.'
