It's usually fashion good news, bad news, but I was hard-pressed to find any good news anywhere, and even I have my limits (that chain-smoking Heigl woman with the big teeth, for instance). Bad news, though, always seems to persevere. And today's feature is a chronic repeat offender.

Second only to Bai Ling in her fashion choices, Helena Bonham Carter has raised the bar for intentional fashion distress (diss-dress?) for years with her husband and partner in crime, Tim Burton. Whether stateside or abroad, you can always count on Helena to be the worst dressed at any event. But she does it in style.

This looks like it could have been a great dress if Helena had just let them finish it. It looks like she just wrapped a big sheath of fabric around her like a towel and tucked it under her armpits, hence the arms stiffly at her sides. It's such a shame - that color is perfect for her, and for someone who just had a baby, she looks fabulous ... from the neck up. She may even have combed her hair this time. Perhaps there's hope.
