Cheerful new photos published in OK! magazine of Britney Spears with her sons Jayden James and Sean Preston are a startling contrast to the images in the news last week from her breakdown and hospitalization. Photographer Dani Brubaker told OK! of the photoshoot with Spears, "She was very loving. She told me that she loved her children and that they are her life. She was very attentive to their needs."
The fact that Spears's children are "her life" has been emphasized by many sources close to the singer. A friend told OK!, "Those boys are her everything, and she's said repeatedly that life isn't worth living if she can't have her babies with her…She'd put her life before them and die for Jayden and Preston. They're her whole world…Britney has always said, 'I would die for my boys if that's what it took to prove I loved them. I'd do anything for them.'"
The pal claims that Spears is "inconsolable" now, having lost custody of the boys to ex-husband Kevin Federline. Spears's aunt, Chanda McGovern agreed, telling Us Weekly, "She needs to be on suicide watch… I'm truly, truly concerned. I don't think things can get any worse now than us losing her completely."
But even before Britney lost her boys, they were an emotional soft spot for her. Says Brubaker, "I'm told that when she saw the photographs [from the OK! photoshoot] she literally cried for over an hour and stared at them all night long."
