'Atonement' and 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street' were the big winners at the Golden
Johnny Depp won Best Performance By An Actor In A Comedy Or Musical for his portrayal of the murderous London barber in 'Sweeney Todd...'. The macabre musical was also named Best Comedy or Musical.

'Atonement', starring Keira Knightley and James McAvoy, picked up the gongs for Best Drama along with Best Original Score.
However, Knightley - who played Cecilia Tallis in the World War II drama, which had led the way with seven nominations - lost out on Best Performance By An Actress In A Drama to Julie Christie.
Christie, who portrayed a woman succumbing to Alzheimer's in 'Away From Her', won the award ahead of fellow nominees Jodie Foster, Angelina Jolie and Cate Blanchett.
Christie said: "Thank you very much indeed for this award, which I will share with our wonderful director, who made it all possible, and the terrific cast and crew."
The winners were announced during a news conference broadcast on US channel NBC News. The prestigious event - which is organised by the Hollywood Foreign Press - was due to take place at California's Beverly Hilton Hotel, but was axed due to the Hollywood writers' strike.
Daniel Day-Lewis won Best Performance By An Actor In A Drama for his portrayal of an oil baron in 'There Will Be Blood'. This is the actor's first Golden Globe despite four previous nominations.
Cate Blanchett saw off stiff competition from Julia Roberts, Amy Ryan, Tilda Swinton and Saoirse Ronan to win Best Supporting Actress In A Motion Picture.
Cate, who portrayed rock legend Bob Dylan in 'I'm Not There', said in a statement: "I wish circumstances would allow me to be there. Firstly thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press for this recognition. I'd like to thank above all else Todd Haynes for his flair, his chutzpach and his vision. As this is a true ensemble piece, I share this totally with Christian Bale, Marcus Carl Franklin, Heath Ledger, Richard Gere and Ben Whishaw. And of course none of this would be possible without the great man himself, Bob Dylan, wherever you are, whoever you are, I thank you deeply."
'No Country For Old Men' was also a double winner last night. Javier Bardem was given the Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture award, while Ethan and Joel Coen won a Globe for Best Motion Picture Screenplay.
'Rataouille' defeated 'Bee Movie' and 'The Simpsons Movie' to be named Best Animated Feature Film.
David Duchovny won Best Performance By An Actor In A Comedy Or Musical Television Series for his new show 'Californication'.
'Extras' was named Best Comedy Or Musical Television Series.
