Cheryl Cole is desperate to have children, her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh has claimed.

Cheryl, who is married to England soccer star Ashley Cole, wants a family but has promised to finish touring before she starts trying.

Kimberley said: "Cheryl will have kids first. She is the softest and has taken on the motherly role since getting married. She would happily have one but she is so committed to what we are doing right now. She would say, 'But we have to do the tour!' "
Kimberley, who has been dating Triple 8 singer Justin Scott since May 2006, also revealed she is looking forward to getting married and having children one day.
She added to Britain's OK! magazine: "Justin and I are really happy. We're definitely moving in the right direction. He gets on well with all my family so if we do marry, it would be a lovely set-up.
"I'd like to be married a few years and have a honeymoon period before kids take over. We keep having debates because I'm one of four kids so I want four, but he is like, 'No way!' I will have to work on that one!"
