Britney Spears keeps lawyers

Britney Spears, Gossip

Trope & Trope, who have been representing Britney Spears in her ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, will continue on the case, OK reports.

Originally, Trope & Trope had asked to be removed from the case and a hearing was scheduled for Feb. 4, at which they were to officially hand off Britney's side of the custody battle to a more willing attorney.

However, an officer for the court has confirmed that Trope withdrew their request around 4 p.m. PT yesterday, following Britney's extremely brief visit to the courthouse.
