Mel Gibson got preferential treatment

Three L.A. County Sheriff's Department employees gave preferential treatment to Mel Gibson during his DUI arrest last July. According the Office of Independent Review, employees failed to follow proper procedures during the arrest and tried to withhold details of the arrest report, which contained alleged anti-Semitic statements by Gibson. Two sergeants and a jailer have been disciplined. One received a two-day suspension and the other two received written reprimands. |
