Jennifer Aniston was invited to spend Christmas with her ex-husband's family.

Brad Pitt's mother Jane has retained a close relationship with her former daughter-in-law and wanted Jennifer to come to the Pitt household in Springfield, Missouri, for the festive season.

However, the move has infuriated Angelina Jolie - who has four children with the actor - because she thinks it is entirely inappropriate

A source said: "Angelina was livid when Brad told her and she let him have it, screaming that she thinks Jen' spending the season with his parents is totally inappropriate.

"She's made it clear she won't be anywhere near Jennifer. So if Jen' shows up in Springfield for Christmas, Angelina sure won't!"
