Britney Spears has now become so dependent on her strangely controlling companion Sam Lutfi, insiders say she's decided to run away to Las Vegas to marry him.

Incredibly, the 26-year-old blurted out her scheme to shocked ex-husband Kevin Federline, defiantly declaring, "I'm eloping with Sam!"

Sources say Kevin was horrified, as were Brit's family and friends, who fear Sam is a hustler out to make Brit his meal ticket, NW reports.
