Ashlee Simpson has booted boyfriend Pete Wentz from her house after a series of rows and pressure from her family to dump the rocker, NW reports.

Sources say the Fall Out Boy bassist moved out of Ash's Hollywood Hills home recently. Although it was the blonde pop singer who told him to leave, pals say 28-year-old Pete was more than happy to get away from his girlfriend of more than a year. And it seems Pete has already moved on, having been spotted with Ally Hilfiger — daughter of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger — at a New York party last week.

Despite coming across as one of Hollywood's most loved-up young couples, behind closed doors friends say they argued constantly about Pete's messiness and 23-year-old Ashlee's bossiness.

Friends had initially believed that the pair might reunite, but insiders say the holes in their relationship are too deep and now predict a permanent split.
