Sucks for you, eh, Carlos? After years of partying hard like a rock star (with oodles of extramarital sex at no extra charge), guitar god Carlos Santana settled down and became a better husband. And now his wife wants to divorce him? There's more to this story than meets the eye, methinks.

Deborah Santana filed for divorce October 19 citing the old "irreconcilable differences" excuse. Neither side has commented further on what finally tore this couple asunder after almost three-and-a-half decades, but perhaps Deborah's 2005 book, "Space Between the Stars", sheds some light on what went wrong.

In her memoir, Deborah frequently talks about her husband's infidelities, among other shortcomings. The couple had three children, now aged 17 to 23, and have started a number of successful businesses, including Milagros Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping underprivileged children.

Perhaps now that their children are for the most part grown and she's no longer reliant on his income as a musician, Deborah decided she'd just had enough. Or maybe Carlos hadn't changed that much after all; he just got better at hiding it and/or showing contrition when caught.
