For those of you who didn't grow up in the 80s, a little background:
Michael Hutchence was the lead singer of INXS, an Australian band. They had several really huge hits on the crest of the music video boom. Hutchence was often compared to a young Jim Morrison, and his sexy good looks made women swoon all over the world. Like Morrison, Hutchence died under mysterious circumstances. We're sure he's really dead, but some people just don't know when to leave well enough alone.
The conspiracy theorists must be having a slump if this is the best they can do. In 1997 Michael was found naked and dead. Where his body was found and its condition led insiders to surmise Michael was dabbling in auto-eroticism, where a person will choke or suffocate themselves for a sexual rush. Supposedly losing consciousness enhances sexual pleasure. People who practice auto-eroticism often become obsessed with this deadly game, claiming they can't get off without it, and all too often the game results in death.

News like this is never easy for loved ones to accept. It's not something to share with your drinking buddies, or sometimes even your spouse. Often when someone dies from auto-asphyxiation the survivors refuse to accept it as fact. Such is the case with many friends of Hutchence, including Simon LeBon of Duran Duran, who insists Michael was too happy to even contemplate suicide. Some theorize that Hutchence didn't die alone, but again no evidence can be found to substantiate that.
I still think Michael just got himself in trouble having deviate sex and forgot to breathe. He was by himself due to the nature of the act. Case pretty much closed. Sorry, conspiracy lovers. Keep turning rocks.
