Paris Hilton snubs family on Thanksgiving

Paris Hilton has snubbed spending Thanksgiving with her family to attend the MTV Style Gala in China.

The heiress arrived in the Chinese city of Shanghai earlier this week and, in a further snub to her relatives, she chose to stay in the Hyatt hotel instead of the Hilton.

A source said: "The panoramic view from the hotel room seemed the major attraction of the Hyatt. Paris hopes to gain a better understanding of the city's charm within a limited time."
Paris has ordered three evening gowns and it has been reported the 26-year-old is planning to stage a mini fashion show.
During her stay, Paris will also visit the Shanghai Museum and Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
