Kylie Minogue says weight she put on was hard to confront

Kylie Minogue says the weight she put on as a result of her cancer treatment was difficult to accept at first, NOW reports.

'It was hard to confront, I have to say,' admits the 39-year-old star.

'I lost a lot of weight and then I put on a lot of weight. So for someone who's been pretty much always the same, it was a shock.'

'The thing that I've latched onto is that you don't go back to normal,' she tells You magazine.

'You go back to the new normal. I'm not as scrawny. Curvy Kylie. That's the new one, isn't it?'

'I definitely look different to before,' she admits. 'My face is fuller, but apparently I look a lot healthier.'
