Jonathan Rhys Meyers arrested at Dublin airport

Jonathan Rhys Meyers stars in the upcoming August Rush, an uplifting family film, but the actor's behavior on Sunday wasn't so family friendly. He was arrested in Ireland at the Dublin airport for public drunkenness and breach of the peace.

Rhys Meyers was headed for London, but was not allowed to board his flight because of his behavior at both the gate and the service desk for BMI airline.

When Rhys Meyers refused to calm down, the airport police called the Irish national police to the scene. The 30-year-old actor was held in police custody before being released on bail. His arraignment will take place on December 5.
