Jessica Simpson using Owen Wilson to drum up publicity?

Jessica Simpson only dated Owen Wilson to drum up publicity for her upcoming country music album.

A source told MSNBC: "When Jess last had a new album coming out, that's when
she was introduced to John Mayer, who she started a relationship with. Now
she's got her first country album coming out, so now she's been conveniently
introduced to Owen, who is a fellow Texan. Better yet, the public is
sympathetic to him."
Owen and Jessica first met on the set of a Willie Nelson music video last
month.
In August, Owen was rushed to hospital with slashed wrists following a
reported suicide attempt.
