Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon take her kids trick or treating

Gyllenspoon is getting serious. Reese Witherspoon must see a future with her Rendition co-star Jake Gyllenhaal as she has taken the next step in their relationship: allowing him to hang with her kids. The couple accompanied 8-year-old Ava and 4-year-old Deacon while they did their trick or treating in Brentwood Wednesday night.

Reese and Jake thought they pull a trick of their own by wearing some clever costumes in hopes of dodging the paparazzi. But while Jake's gorilla mask hid his handsome face, Reese's black witch wig wasn't fooling anyone and their outing was well-documented.

An onlooker told Us Weekly, "They were holding hands and swinging them in the air as they walked around the neighborhood. Reese was laughing at everything Jake was saying." They were also caught kissing and while Ava and Deacon got their candy, "Reese and Jake waited on the sidewalk and flirted."

Halloween must have brought out the kid in Jake since he teased Reese as if they were classmates on the playground. The source said, "Jake tapped Reese on the butt and then she hit him back — they began running a circle hitting each other! Then Jake picked Reese up off her feet and she screamed."
