Britney Spears skips her birth control pills

Britney Spears may be in for a big surprise in the form of child number three. A source for Life & Style Weekly claims the pop star has been sleeping around and hasn't been taking her birth control properly.

Among Britney's recent conquests are friend Sam Lufti and ex J.R. Rotem. Says the insider, "When her friends ask if she's being safe, Britney says it's just casual sex. She seems to think that just because she isn't in a formal relationship, she's somehow immune to getting pregnant."

But immune, Britney is not and it doesn't help that she has stopped getting her Depo-Provera contraceptive shots. The snitch said, "She missed a shot in July and she was late getting another shot." Eventually Britney gave up Depo-Provera altogether because she believed it was responsible for her weight gain. Instead, she's been on the pill, "But she's constantly forgetting where she put them and to take them. She seems to find it amusing — she laughs at how scattered she is," claims the source.
