Britney Spears could end up with 24 months probation

Britney Spears could end up with 24 months probation for driving without a license, if the L.A. City Attorney get his ways.

Britney Spears's lawyer is having none of that saying the pop singer is being treated unfairly, US magazine.

At a hearing Monday in a Van Nuys, California, a judge honored Spears' attorney Michael Flanagan's request to postpone the case until January 2 to discuss the matter further and examine all the evidence.

When asked if Spears, 25, feels the system is picking on her, Flanagan told reporters, "She hasn't said anything that I can quote. Do I feel that way? Yes, I feel that way."

He said the City Attorney is willing to reduce the 24 months to 12 months, but Flanagan insisted, "No misdemeanor violation is satisfactory to me."
