It's not that her music is that bad. I've definitely heard worse, and sometimes catch myself singing along to the less screechy parts. No, it's because nobody likes a pissy self-righteous skank. I wouldn't pay $5 to see Avril - unless they gave me rotten vegetables to throw.

Like sad little Kelly Clarkson (who is much more talented, by the way), Avril's foul and putrid piehole put her on everybody's s**t list this year. Kelly made the mistake of thinking she knew more about making music than Clive Davis, and Avril ran around spitting on people.

Tickets for Avril's 2008 tour recently went on sale, and sales are dismal at best. Another reason could be that it will be almost a year after the album's release, which is pretty long for our short-attention-span younger set, Avril's fan base. While this may or may not be true, I prefer to think that it's because everyone else hates her as much as I do.
