Amy Winehouse's friends and family fear for her

Amy Winehouse is known for her over-the-top behavior and her fondness for drugs and alcohol. So it's only natural that her parents would worry about her while her husband Blake Fielder-Civil is in jail. According to the Daily Mail, Amy's folks were so frightened about their daughter that they called Britain's equivalent of 911 when she went missing on Tuesday.

Says an insider, "Amy's family are petrified she'll do something stupid. They know she's very low at the moment and misses Blake terribly. They were trying to reach her on the phone yesterday evening and they were also trying the flat in Hackney where she's been staying but they couldn't get in touch with her. They immediately feared the worst and called an ambulance and police to go and check on her. But thankfully Amy showed up and was fine."

Another source revealed, "Her father Mitch is keeping an eye on her as she is so vulnerable at the moment and is known for self-harming so there are concerns for her well being. Her friends and family are worried she might do herself some harm."

The source claims that some of Amy's friends are pleased that Blake is behind bars. "Her friends though are trying to pull her the other way now she is no longer under his influence. A number of them are over the moon he has been locked away as it gives them a chance to work on her - but she seems determined to stick by him," the snitch said.
