Lindsay Lohan Tries to Order Booze

When Lindsay Lohan entered LA’s Viceroy hotel on Oct. 19, just two weeks out of rehab, the blonde beauty could not resist a drink, Life & Style reports

“She was fine at first,� says an insider who saw Lindsay, 21, sip water after arriving with friends around 8:30 p.m. “But it was obviously too soon for her to be around people who were drinking, because she later asked the server for a vodka.�

To Lindsay’s surprise, she was refused. “Her people had called ahead,� says the insider. “Servers were told not to give in no matter how often Lindsay asked for alcohol.�

Lindsay’s rep denies the incident, but hotel guest Jennifer Stavey, who saw Lindsay at the Viceroy, tells Life & Style, “It was clearly very hard for her not to drink. I heard the waitress say that she was sorry but she wasn’t allowed to serve her. Lindsay walked out soon after, looking embarrassed.�
