Britney Spears was granted one night-a-week custody of her two children, Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon ruled at a 41-minute hearing this afternoon at Los Angeles Superior courthouse.

Gordan also ruled that her visits with Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, will need to be supervised by a court monitor. (The judge would not allow her mother, Lynne, with whom she recently reconciled, to serve as the monitor.)

Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini told reporters of her testimony, " Her voice was soft and sweet."
