Britney Spears booked on misdemeanor driving charges
Britney Spears was booked on misdemeanor driving charges of hit and run and driving without a valid license stemming from her Aug. 6 fender bender. Britney arrived at Los Angeles Van Nuys Jail around 9 p.m. and left about 45 minutes later. According to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department's web site, Britney was arrested at 9:25 and booked at 9:26. "She was fine, cooperative," according to Officer Mike Lopez. "She did her business and came out." The singer was fingerprinted and photographed, he said.
