No, we're not saying that Amy Sedaris is a hefty heifer. While she's certainly not a glamour queen, you'd think she'd reach into her wardrobe instead of under the sink for the lawn and trash bags. There's only one woman who could pull that look off - Debbie Harry - and that was long, long ago.

Amy Sedaris is a very funny woman. But this isn't funny. If this is her idea of recycling, I hope she wore it first before she emptied the trash compactor into it. At least she doesn't have to worry about spilling anything on it - it would definitely wipe clean easily.

Because of her reputation for silliness, people would probably poke fun at anything Amy wore unless it was conservative and traditional. Her best bet would have been to either play it safe or go completely wackadoodle - polka dots and argyle, maybe. But to try to be a little hip just makes her look a bit lame, and she probably knows this. You've got to give her props for the big, brave smile and bright red lipstick, although the bandage on her left wrist clashes somewhat. I hope she wasn't channeling Owen Wilson.

Next time Amy chooses a little black dress, she should try going with more natural fibers - even tacky polyester would be an improvement over industrial strength plastic. Is it drawstring or twist tie?
