Nicole Richie does 82 minutes in jail

A five-months pregnant Nicole Richie checked into jail last week at 3:15 p.m. in order to serve a four-day sentence for driving under the influence. A little over an hour later, at 4:37 p.m., she left the Central Regional Facility in Lynwood, CA free and clear. Deputy Johnnie Jones of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department tells Usmagazine.com, "Her release was based on her sentence and Federal Court guidelines and inmate population. Because of overcrowding, she was released early." |
