Nicole Richie has done a 180 with her life.

She’s clean, sober and so into being a healthy and perfect mom, say sources that she’s even planning a totally “natural�? childbirth - without so much as an aspirin to ease the pain of labor, Star reports!

The reformed celebutante “has been adamant about not putting any sort of drug or chemical into her body since she learned she was pregnant,�? a friend tells Star. “Nicole has made her mistakes in the past, but she doesn’t want her child to suffer because of them.�?

The 25-year-old star sought help immediately after learning that she was having Joel Madden’s baby. In May she became a rehab out patient at the Beau Monde treatment center in California.

“She’s hoping to go through childbirth without an epidural or any other painkillers,�? says the friend. “She feels if she can get through that without drugs, she can get through anything.�?
