Perhaps the ads are trying to say that any woman can be sexy in their lingerie. While this may or may not be true, not every woman thinks it's hot to get trussed up like a pot roast and strung up on the nearest post (be that bed, sign or fencepost). The little corset thing on her waist has a nice slimming effect, but the bat wings on her arms (shawl? drop cloth?) and matching black lipstick just add to the creepy effect.

This must all be part of Maggie's coming-out-of-mousy phase. Since she gave birth to her baby earlier this year, Maggie's been photographed breast feeding in public - not so shocking, except for the fact that she is a celebrity, and had to know her picture would be taken. Seeing shots of her with her breast fully exposed, chatting away with her friends while Junior takes a breather, was a bit unsettling. Seeing her dressed as a galley wench made me want to throw on a turtleneck and get right with Jesus.
