Jamie Foxx has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

During his acceptance speech, he paid tribute to his late adoptive
grandmother who raised him.
He said: "My grandmother has got to be spreading her wings and flying around
in heaven, just so happy.
"This is one of the most amazing days of my life."
The 39-year-old star - real name Eric Morlon Bishop - was recognized for his
Academy Award-winning portray of soul musician Ray Charles in 'Ray', as well
as his Oscar-nominated role in 'Collateral'.
