Britney Spears enjoys trip to Atlanta

Last weekend, Britney Spears jaunted off to Atlanta in hopes of escaping the stress of Los Angeles. She was overheard saying by a spy for Page Six, "I hate L.A., I'm so sick of that town. I don't want anyone to know I'm here in Atlanta."

Spears almost got her wish. Her new brown hairstyle kept her secret fairly well. Jake Barnaby, assistant manager for the Juicy Couture store in Phipps Plaza that Spears visited, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "Unless you actually spoke to her for a minute, you wouldn't have recognized her."

Barnaby says, "She was very well put together and she was really quiet," though he also added, "the people with her were actually causing more commotion. After a while, it was like, 'Oh, please. You're nobody. Stop.'"

Another salesperson commented on Britney's demeanor, stating, "She seemed in good spirits and was very sweet and complimentary to everyone. She was looking for something to wear that night and spent way less than $1,000. Really, she was just in a rush, trying to get in and out. She was done in about 20 minutes."
