Brad Pitt and Edward Norton team up again for 'State of Play'

Brad Pitt and Edward Norton - who starred together in the critically acclaimed 'Fight Club' in 1999 - will team up again in new political thriller 'State of Play'

Norton will play a congressman whose speedy political rise is threatened by an investigation into the death of his mistress, while Pitt will star as his journalist friend Cal McCaffrey.
The pair’s friendship is tested to the limit when the reporter begins investigating the scandal.
As well as uncovering a high-level political conspiracy which implicates Norton’s character, McCaffrey also develops a close relationship with his friend’s estranged wife.
