Zac Efron, 19, and Vanessa Hudgens, 18, who’ve been dating since last year, may be going through a rough patch , Life & Style reports.
First they weathered reports that Zac had hooked up with his Hairspray co-star Nikki Blonsky. And just as their careers are taking off, friends are urging the couple to take a break. “It’s too much too soon,� says an insider. “They’re so young; it’s premature for them to be talking about a long-term commitment.�
And with the sequel to High School Musical airing on the Disney Channel on Aug. 17, life will only get more complicated. Zac has already been bombarded with attention since the release of Hairspray. “There are a lot of females,� he’s said. “What can I say? I’m enjoying myself.� Says the insider, “Zac is caught in such a whirlwind, and he needs to catch his breath.
