Us Weekly looks into Nicole Richie's jail sentence. According to the mag, Nicole must serve 96 hours at the Lynwood County Jail by September 28 for her DUI.

"Usually [the sheriff] will interpret that as a sentence of four days and have her serve two," says Santa Monica, California, criminal attorney Alec Rose.

Count on a day off for good behavior, and "if you arrive at 11:50 p.m. and they book you in, you've served the day...I'd get the client in at 10:45 in case there's a line."
