Jennifer Lopez has been awarded over $545,000 in her legal battle with her
first husband.
Ojani Noa was ordered to pay his ex-wife the huge sum following his plans to
release his tell-all book 'The Unknown Truth: A Passionate Portrait of a
Serial Thriller'.
J.Lo, 38, filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Noa in 2006 accusing
him of breaking a confidentiality agreement he signed back in 2005, after it
was reported the former waiter was planning to bring out the unpublished
tome.
Noa, 33, had agreed not to disparage J.Lo or attempt to profit from
disclosing details about her private life.
J. Lo's lawyer, Paul Sorrell, said: "I think she'd just like to see this be
over."
Noa and J.Lo married in 1997 and were divorced a year later.
