She's come a long way from the swarthy little Cuban and that gorgeous hunk of manmeat that is Ben Affleck, hasn't she?

She hasn't had a hit record in a while and anything cinematic she touches is sure to turn to swill, but at least she's got her bony little husband, Marc Anthony, who does enjoy commercial success.

Recently Marc was quoted in the press as saying that JLo wears the pants in their marriage, that she's the one who calls the shots. Jennifer, PR maven that she is, responds to that statement that she's "very lucky" to work with Marc. The cast and crew of El Cantante would probably beg to differ, as she made things klugy with her insistence that she be in almost every scene. While it's true that Jennifer is taller and has considerably more body mass than Marc, one should never underestimate the wiry strength and crafty mind of Anthony, who has long been rumored to keep his wife on a very short leash when it comes to media relations. Ever notice that since she married Marc Jennifer has been making far less public appearances? Word is that Marc will not let her book appearances alone - they either work as a team or they stay home and watch game show reruns.

Jennifer seems to be okay with the arrangement, although she has looked a little bleary in the eyes lately. I think their lack of success in the babymaking department is taking its toll on her. It's what she wants more than anything in the world, but none of their attempts have met with success. It must kill her when his children from his previous marriage come to visit.
