The gracious hosts for the evening were none other than Tom Cruise and Will Smith. At one point before entering the gala, The Beckhams posed on the red carpet with Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, who flew in from Germany where he was busy shooting his latest film just for the event. Needless to say, the paparazzi went ape sh*t!

The attendee list reads like a true who's who of Hollywood - Eva Longoria and hubby, Brooke Shields, Jim Carey, Jenny McCarthy, Rihanna, Matt Lucas and Demi Moore. Phewww! It's enough to make the inner-celebrity-stalker in us commit suicide for not flying to LA and at least attempting to get into the invite-only party.

Last night's festivities were hardly the first time stars gathered for the Beckhams. Just a day earlier, David made his football debut for LA Galaxy before a celebrity-packed crowd which included California's Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Spice Girls founder Simon Fuller. British newspaper, The Sun reports that Victoria watched from her private box which she shared with Katie Holmes.
