Secret in Britney Spears’s past haunts her

The pop star is demanding that her mother stay away from her two young songs and her soon-to-be ex-husband or she’ll go to court and have a judge order it!

Britney, 25, spelled out her demands in a stunning legal document that accuses Lynne of abusing prescription drugs and siding with Britney’s estranged husband Kevin Federline in the couple’s ongoing custody battle.

In a shocking confrontation, Britney slapped her mother with a copy of the legal papers, plus a CD of Lynne’s conversations, a letter and a copy of Britney’s newly executed will, which cuts Lynne out of Britney’s $100 million estate.

The family drama unfolded on June 28 after Britney drove from her home in Malibu, Calif., to nearby Valencia, where her younger sister Jamie Lynn, 16, is filming the TV show “Zoey 101.�

As photographers snapped pictures, Britney handed the documents to her 52-year-old mother outside her sister’s trailer.

“Britney said: ‘Here, Mama, I just wanted to see your face,’ as she handed the things to Lynne, one by one,� said a source.

“When her mother began reading the letter, Britney started to walk away. Lynne said: ‘Wait, what’s this?’ “Britney said: ‘You don’t have to read that now. Bye-bye,’ got into her car and drove off. Lynne went into the trailer and broke down in tears.�

And now The ENQUIRER has an exclusive glimpse into the bitter mother/daughter war-including the contents of the secret CD, details of the legal document and what Britney wrote in the secret letter to her mother.

The CD contains recordings of Lynne’s conversations with people close to Britney-conversations in which Lynne talked about Britney and her boys, sources say.

Britney is furious that her mother has been discussing her problems with other people and wanted to show her mother that she knew everything that was going on.

The legal document is a copy of a motion that Britney intends to file if Lynne does not stop meddling in her life.

“The motion is intended to keep Lynne away from the kids,� said the source. “The papers contain allegations that Lynne abuses prescription drugs. According to Britney, Kevin knows that Lynne takes prescription medication and also believes she is addicted. Britney claims that by leaving the kids with Lynne, Kevin is putting them in danger.�

Britney claims that Lynne criticizes her in front of the boys and conspires with Kevin to drive her crazy and take their kids.

“Britney felt she didn’t have any choice but to draft legal documents to file against Lynne if she does not stay away from Kevin,� revealed the source. “Recently Britney screamed at Kevin: ‘She 9Lynne) thinks that I have a problem with alcohol? She’s the one addicted to Valium and other prescription meds. I’m not the pill popper. She is!�

The letter, written in the form of a poem, hints at a dark secret in Britney’s past, say insiders.

“Britney began the poem with ‘Dar Mama’ and then went into things about her childhood,� says the source.

“She told Lynne that she couldn’t imagine a mother doing what she did to her child and that she doesn’t have a mother anymore.�

The secret in Britney’s past haunts her to this day, added another source.

“While no one wants to talk about it, it has always colored Britney’s relationship with her mother,� said the source.

Britney also claimed that Lynne’s role in putting her in Promises rehab against her wishes has “opened her eyes� to her family, said the source.

“Britney said she doesn’t trust her mother and knows that Lynne would take the boys away from her if she had the chance,� said the source.

“Britney said she doesn’t believe in fairy tale endings anymore and ended the poem with: ‘My life, your lie-B.’�

The new will leaves Britney’s estimated $100 million estate, including the income from her business ventures, perfume line and music royalties, to her sister Jamie Lynn if her boys are not 18 when she dies, said the source.

If Jamie Lynn is not of legal age, a court-appointed guardian will administer the estate until Jamie Lynn turns 21.

Britney has also stipulated that if both she and Kevin are incapacitated, her cousin Alli- and not her mother- should raise her boys, said the source.
