Naomi Watts has been walking around with a King Kong-sized baby bump the last few weeks, but not anymore. The actress gave birth to a son on Thursday at 3:59 pm in Los Angeles.

The child was Naomi and boyfriend Liev Schreiber’s first. They named him Alexander Pete Schreiber. Alexander weighed 8 lbs., 4 oz at the time of his birth. He was 22.5 inches long, Watts’s rep told People magazine.

Watts and Schreiber have been dating since 2005. Last weekend, the couple had a baby shower, though Schreiber made only a brief appearance. Staying longer at the event were their celebrity friends Kate Hudson and Carla Gugino.
