Madonna has woman fired from Guy Ritchie's film crew
Last week Madonna proved that she won’t put up with anyone who speaks harshly about her children. On July 20, the 48-year-old popstar visited the set of her husband Guy Ritchie’s upcoming film, RocknRolla, bringing along her two-year-old adopted son, David. When she overheard a crew member making a snide comment about David, she did what any diva would do and had the person sacked. The incident occurred when two crew members were talking. One of them asked the other, a woman, for the name of Madonna’s son. The woman answered back, "Lucky Bastard." But unluckily for the crew member, Madonna was listening. A source from the set told the Mirror’s 3AM Girls, "Madonna looked astonished by what was said and words were exchanged between them. Madge seemed very protective of her son and didn't want anyone talking of him in such a manner. At the end of the day, she's just a mum and doesn't want anyone speaking ill of her family. She looked really hurt and shocked by the comment and let her feelings be made known." Naturally, Madonna made sure that the insensitive woman was fired from the film. Explained the insider, "It's Guy's film and Madonna is his wife, so they're very much the top dogs. It was a bit foolish to speak like that, to say the least, so it's no surprise it all kicked off." |
