LOHAN CLAN DEFENDS LINDSAY

You knew it was bound to happen sooner or later, but you secretly hoped they would know better this time and keep their traps shut. The Lohan clan is out in full force defending Lindsay's latest brush with the law by trying to convince everyone that they are somehow a "normal" family.

Lindsay's younger sister Ali told British newspaper The Sun, "I think that the whole reason why my sister is upset with herself and not as confident, is because of my dad not being around, and always staying out late and not coming home for days.

"My family is like a normal family but of course we are put under a microscope because of Lindsay's fame.

"Lindsay will be fine she is just going through a rough time right now but she will be fine. I know this for a fact."

Lindsays' mother Dina spoke through friend Gina Glickmam who claimed it wasn't Lindsay chasing her assistant's mother, and neither was it her cocaine.

She told the paper, "Right now, we don't know who may have been chasing her. It could have been paparazzi."

Even Linday's uncle Chris Sullivan has entered the mix telling the New York Post, ""It may not have been Lindsay driving the car."

And we dare wonder why Lindsay has absolutely no sense of personal responsibility?
