On Tuesday gossips claimed that it was Lindsay's longtime assistant, Jenni Muro, who was involved in the late-night chase and arrest, TMZ debunked the gossip, reporting that Jenni was NOT involved in the incident, and furthermore, she was not even present at the time of Lindsay's arrest.

TMZ has learned that Lohan's arraignment is set for August 24 at 8:30 AM.

Lohan is scheduled to appear in Beverly Hills Court the same day for her Memorial Day weekend DUI bust.

The maximum sentence she faced for that original DUI and hit and run charges was 6 months for each. With Lindsay's new DUI charges she could face up to one year in jail. Lohan was also charged with possession of cocaine, which is a felony and carries a maximum of three years in jail.

Lohan is accused of driving on a suspended license as well, which carries a maximum of one year in jail.
