Jessica Alba wanted to marry Cash Warren

A source close to Jessica Alba is fighting back at the gossip circulating about the starlet's break up with longtime boyfriend Cash Warren. When Us Weekly broke the new of the couple's split last week, it seemed as though Jessica may have just moved on. But this source claims she was hoping for a bigger commitment from movie producer, Warren.

The insider told the New York Daily News, "He wasn't ready for marriage, and Jessica is. It's simple as that. It's kind of cold that the press is saying she was just finished with him, because it isn't like that."

The turning point for the relationship seems to have been Eva Longoria's wedding earlier this month in Paris, which the couple attended. The source said, "Seeing Eva get married made Jessica wistful. That was the reason Jessica seemed to be in a terrible mood in Paris."

There may be hope for Jessica and Cash, though. NYDN reports that many friends of the pair suspect that they will get back together.
