Criss Angel's wife goes after Cameron Diaz

I bet Cameron Diaz wishes her one-time love interest, magician Criss Angel could make his wife Joanne Sarantakos disappear. Though Angel and Long Island, N.Y.-based Sarantakos have been separated for more than a year, she has accused Angel of having an affair with Diaz. Her lawyer is threatening to subpoena the Charlie's Angels star.

Sarantakos is suing Angel for divorce on the grounds of mental cruelty and abandonment, reports the New York Post. She claims that he kept their marriage a secret for five years in order to increase his sex appeal for female fans. Sarantakos's father told the Post, "My daughter was never acknowledged as his wife. He told her it was a better single image, than a married image."

Sarantakos's lawyer, Dominic Barbara told the Nassau County court, "We're naming Cameron Diaz as his lover. We will subpoena her as soon as she comes back to New York."

Angel's lawyer has not denied the charges of adultery. Diaz's lawyer, Brad Cafarelli, is fighting the allegations, though. Cafarelli told People magazine, "When Cameron met Criss Angel in May of this year, he had been separated from his wife for over a year and she had already filed a petition to divorce him in 2006. Cameron and Criss went on only four dates over a month ago and have no current relationship…These are meaningless, attention-seeking attempts to unfairly and unnecessarily exploit Cameron's celebrity by trying to involve her in matters she has nothing to do with."
