Christina Aguilera: It’s Official She’s Pregnant!

Fausto Aguilera, Christina Aguilera’s proud papa, confirmed his daughter’s pregnancy to Life & Style on June 29. “I’m so excited,� he said while standing in the front yard of his Staten Island, N.Y., home. “I want Christina to achieve all her goals. I wish her all the happiness in the world.�

Looks like his wish is coming true. While her rep won’t confirm or deny the pregnancy, Christina can barely contain her baby joy while on her current world tour, happily showing off her new bump in formfitting costumes!

“She’s thrilled,� says an insider. “She’s feeling wonderful and taking good care of herself. She’s been planning this for a while, so her health is better than it’s ever been.�

And while Christina, 26, and hubby Jordan Bratman, 30, would like to take a year off after the baby’s birth, the pop star’s goal is to eventually balance motherhood with her singing career — and to start acting in movies!

“Christina’s seen women with great careers, like Gwen Stefani, also raise great kids,� the insider explains. “And she feels as if she can follow their example. She wants to have it all, too!�

In the early stages of her pregnancy, Xtina used almost anything — her hand, her sweater, even a notebook — to hide her belly. “She and Jordan wanted to tell their families before announcing it to the world,� says an insider.

Christina’s not worried about temporarily losing her svelte body, says an insider: “She wants a healthy baby — that’s what matters most to her.�
