Britney Spears to host opening of LAX's Las Vegas location

Britney Spears has been criticized for her return to the nightlife after entering rehab earlier this year. But that's not stopping her from hosting the opening of Hollywood hotspot LAX's new Las Vegas location next month.

A rep for the club, which will be located in the Luxor Hotel, confirmed the news to People magazine. The opening will take place on August 31. Christina Aguilera and DJ AM may also attend the bash - they are investors in LAX.

This isn't Britney's first Las Vegas club hosting gig. She spent this past New Year's Eve at Pure, where she infamously passed out on one of the club's VIP beds just before one a.m. Hopefully for LAX, Spears will prove more energetic this go around.
