Britney Spears cat fights her mother

Don't be surprised if Britney Spears has another breakdown soon. As Gallery of the Absurd recently illustrated , she's showing all the warning signs. And Britney is getting closer to the edge each day. Her latest brush with insanity took place last month when she and her mother allegedly participated in a "shocking slapfest," according to Star magazine.

On the day of the catfight, Britney's mother Lynne came over to her home to see Sean Preston and Jayden James, Britney's two sons. Says Star's source, "Lynne barged into the house and insisted on taking the kids out to spend some private time with them. She didn't ask or suggest, she demanded! Then she began denigrating Britney's mothering skills and losing her temper at the same time!"

Star claims that the fight "left Lynne shaken and Britney more determined than ever to cut her mother out of her life for good." It was because of this incident that Britney delivered a letter to Lynne insisting that she stay away from Jayden and Sean.

A friend of the Spears family tells Star, "Despite their problems, Lynne cares deeply for Britney and wants to find a way to help her. She thinks antidepressant drugs may be the answer. Lynne feels Britney has severe depression issues, and they are in large part the cause of her apparent manic behavior and past problems with alcohol."
